SHAME ON DETROIT NEWS, NEWS ORGANIZATIONS ...GLORIFICATION OF KILLER, STOP IT...
SHAME....DETROIT NEWS, ABC NEWS...ALL NEWS OUTLETS...
That glorified this assassin who killed, under cover of police colors, the Russian Ambassador to Turkey, while he made a speech in front of people at an art gallery.
Burhan Ozbillici, the Associated Press photographer, who took this photograph, which will become - infamous - but may also aid in an investigation was right to do so, but also will aid in ISIS recruitment and increase tensions in Syria, Turkey and Russia and indeed around the World. Assassins need only kill important people and stand around for their photo to get front page glory around the World.
News organizations were not obligated or should not have used this photo - from simple humanity, common sense and without proper thought as to the ramifications.
It does not further any news story to include this photo - it is purely a sick, demented man who is enjoying the moment he killed a defenseless man, in front of women and children.
Whether or not you agree with the events in Allepo, Syria - which supposedly was the reason for the assassination - the use of this photograph - does not help, resolve the situation nor does it make the action - heroic, and so the photo should not have been used when other photos could have portrayed the horror of this incident.
Detroit newspapers have used a mass killer photo on the front page and other news organizations have used mass killer photos, repeatedly, as part of their stories...the photos are a glorification, an honor to those, who maimed and killed, not a DETERRENT...
So to all NEWS ORGANIZATIONS AND OUTLETS...don't honor killers by putting their faces on the front page or on the lead to a video news story....use a victims photo or some relevant photo that tells other - you will not see your face - if you kill people......
The only time a photo should be used is to - catch - a killer, not to
make him a hero to others, who sympathize with their sick actions.

DETROIT NEWS...DETROIT FREE PRESS - - JOB LOSES....NEEDS READERSHIP
DETROIT NEWS...JOB LOSSES..... (Free Press, too)
Part of the reason for job losses is because Gannett etc has raised the price on the News and Freep from $1.00 to $1.50 ...(while miserly giving paper sales locations only 7c per paper....This is for a flimsy weekly paper that is almost the size of suburban weekly papers.
The Marathon gas station (Evergreen - AA Trail, DHs) stopped selling both papers after the value to them - if they lose one paper, they lose their profits..and reader resistance to the price hike..also the $3.00 Blk Friday and Sunday paper scared off even more readers...the distributor today sent out a notice to saying the $3. price was only for two (2) days...
When I am in Lansing, its hard to find a News or Freep after 11am - because they are enough delivered to locations that sell lthe papers - this is frustrating and discouraging and encourages NON readship...
I stilll buy both papers because I like reading an actual paper, despite the reduced pages...
also, Gannett, etc must continue to try and get younger people to READ NEWSPAPERS, through a program that gave them a free paper to read....
There is continued pressures from social media....but recent revelations that FAKE news was a factor in the elections should give pause to everyone that believes in a Free Media...we need investigative journalists and in depth news coverage more than a 2 minute summation.
I don't have the facts or figures about circulation, readership etc...but Media executives need to be more creative in selling Newspapers to readers...and making it cost effective for sales locations to receive a fair return..

DONALD TRUMP, NOT QUALIFIED, ARIZONA REPUBLIC ...OMG
The Arizona Republic editorial board endorses Hillary Clinton for president.
Since The Arizona Republic began publication in 1890, we have never endorsed a Democrat over a Republican for president. Never. This reflects a deep philosophical appreciation for conservative ideals and Republican principles.
This year is different.
The 2016 Republican candidate is not conservative and he is not qualified.
That’s why, for the first time in our history, The Arizona Republic will support a Democrat for president.
What Clinton has (and Trump doesn’t)
The challenges the United States faces domestically and internationally demand a steady hand, a cool head and the ability to think carefully before acting.
Hillary Clinton understands this. Donald Trump does not.
Clinton has the temperament and experience to be president. Donald Trump does not.
PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS: Why Dems should choose Clinton | The case against Donald Trump
Clinton knows how to compromise and to lead with intelligence, decorum and perspective. She has a record of public service as First Lady, senator and secretary of state.
She has withstood decades of scrutiny so intense it would wither most politicians. The vehemence of some of the anti-Clinton attacks strains credulity.
Trump hasn’t even let the American people scrutinize his tax returns, which could help the nation judge his claims of business acumen.
Her flaws pale in comparison

Arizona Republic presidential endorsements: 120 years, no Democrats
Make no mistake: Hillary Clinton has flaws. She has made serious missteps.
Clinton’s use of a private email server while secretary of State was a mistake, as she has acknowledged. Donations to the Clinton Foundation while she was secretary of State raise concerns that donors were hoping to buy access. Though there is no evidence of wrongdoing, she should have put up a firewall.
Yet despite her flaws, Clinton is the superior choice.
She does not casually say things that embolden our adversaries and frighten our allies. Her approach to governance is mature, confident and rational.
That cannot be said of her opponent.
Clinton retains her composure under pressure. She’s tough. She doesn’t back down.
Trump responds to criticism with the petulance of verbal spit wads.
That’s beneath our national dignity.
When the president of the United States speaks, the world expects substance. Not a blistering tweet.
Whose hand do you want on the nuclear button?
Hillary Clinton knows the issues, history and facts.
Clinton has argued America’s case before friendly and unfriendly foreign leaders with tenacity, diplomacy and skill. She earned respect by knowing the issues, the history and the facts.
She is intimately familiar with the challenges we face in our relations with Russia, China, the Middle East, North Korea and elsewhere. She’ll stand by our friends and she’s not afraid to confront our enemies.
Contrast Clinton’s tenacity and professionalism with Trump, who began his campaign with gross generalities about Mexico and Mexicans as criminals and rapists. These were careless slaps at a valued trading partner and Arizona’s neighbor. They were thoughtless insults about people whose labor and energy enrich our country.
Trump demonstrated his clumsiness on the world stage by making nice with Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto only a few hours before appearing in Phoenix to deliver yet another rant about Mexican immigrants and border walls.
Arizona’s been there on immigration (it doesn’t work)
Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton have said radically different things about immigration. A look at their quotes: Wochit
What’s more, Arizona went down the hardline immigration road Trump travels. It led our state to SB 1070, the 2010 “show me your papers” law that earned Arizona international condemnation and did nothing to resolve real problems with undocumented immigration.
Arizona understands that we don’t need a repeat of that divisive, unproductive fiasco on the national level. A recent poll shows Arizonans oppose both more walls and the mass deportations Trump endorses.
We need a president who can broker solutions.
Clinton calls for comprehensive immigration reform, a goal that business, faith and law enforcement leaders have sought for years. Her support for a pathway to citizenship and her call for compassion for families torn apart by deportation are consistent with her longtime support for human rights.
Clinton’s equality vs. Trump’s lack of respect
Hillary Clinton has made a career fighting for gender

As secretary of state, Clinton made gender equality a priority for U.S. foreign policy. This is an extension of Clinton’s bold “women’s rights are human rights” speech in 1995.
It reflects an understanding that America’s commitment to human rights is a critically needed beacon in today’s troubled world.
Trump’s long history of objectifying women and his demeaning comments about women during the campaign are not just good-old-boy gaffes.
They are evidence of deep character flaws. They are part of a pattern.
Trump mocked a reporter’s physical handicap. Picked a fight with a Gold Star family. Insulted POWs. Suggested a Latino judge can’t be fair because of his heritage. Proposed banning Muslim immigration.
Each of those comments show a stunning lack of human decency, empathy and respect. Taken together they reveal a candidate who doesn’t grasp our national ideals.
A centrist or a wild card?
The Arizona Republic Editorial Board discusses presidential endorsement
Many Republicans understand this. But they shudder at the thought of Hillary Clinton naming Supreme Court justices. So they stick with Trump. We get that. But we ask them to see Trump for what he is — and what he is not.
Trump’s conversion to conservatism is recent and unconvincing. There is no guarantee he will name solid conservatives to the Supreme Court.
Hillary Clinton has long been a centrist. Despite her tack left to woo Bernie Sanders supporters, Clinton retains her centrist roots. Her justices might not be in the mold of Antonin Scalia, but they will be accomplished individuals with the experience, education and intelligence to handle the job.
They will be competent. Just as she is competent.
If a candidate can’t control his words
Never in its 126-year history has The Arizona Republic editorial board endorsed a Democratic presidential candidate over a Republican.
Trump’s inability to control himself or be controlled by others represents a real threat to our national security. His recent efforts to stay on script are not reassuring. They are phony.
The president commands our nuclear arsenal. Trump can’t command his own rhetoric.
Were he to become president, his casual remarks — such as saying he wouldn’t defend NATO partners from invasion — could have devastating consequences.
Trump has praised Russian President Vladimir Putin, a thug who has made it clear he wants to expand Russia’s international footprint.
Trump suggested Russia engage in espionage against Hillary Clinton — an outrageous statement that he later insisted was meant in jest.
Trump said President Obama and Hillary Clinton were “co-founders” of ISIS, then walked that back by saying it was sarcasm.
It was reckless.
Being the leader of the free world requires a sense of propriety that Trump lacks.
Clinton’s opportunity to heal this nation
This is Hillary Clinton’s moment to reach those who feel left behind. (Photo: Jim Lo Scalzo/EPA)
We understand that Trump’s candidacy tapped a deep discontent among those who feel left behind by a changed economy and shifting demographics.
Their concerns deserve to be discussed with respect.
Ironically, Trump hasn’t done that. He has merely pandered. Instead of offering solutions, he hangs scapegoats like piñatas and invites people to take a swing.
In a nation with an increasingly diverse population, Trump offers a recipe for permanent civil discord.
In a global economy, he offers protectionism and a false promise to bring back jobs that no longer exist.
America needs to look ahead and build a new era of prosperity for the working class.
This is Hillary Clinton’s opportunity. She can reach out to those who feel left behind. She can make it clear that America sees them and will address their concerns.
She can move us beyond rancor and incivility.

USA TODAY - DONALD TRUMP - UNQUALIFIED TO BE PRESIDENT
The Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. We're doing it now.
In the 34-year history of USA TODAY, the Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. Instead, we’ve expressed opinions about the major issues and haven’t presumed to tell our readers, who have a variety of priorities and values, which choice is best for them. Because every presidential race is different, we revisit our no-endorsement policy every four years. We’ve never seen reason to alter our approach. Until now.
This year, the choice isn’t between two capable major party nominees who happen to have significant ideological differences. This year, one of the candidates — Republican nominee Donald Trump — is, by unanimous consensus of the Editorial Board, unfit for the presidency.
From the day he declared his candidacy 15 months ago through this week’s first presidential debate, Trump has demonstrated repeatedly that he lacks the temperament, knowledge, steadiness and honesty that America needs from its presidents.
Whether through indifference or ignorance, Trump has betrayed fundamental commitments made by all presidents since the end of World War II. These commitments include unwavering support for NATO allies, steadfast opposition to Russian aggression, and the absolute certainty that the United States will make good on its debts. He has expressed troubling admiration for authoritarian leaders and scant regard for constitutional protections.
We’ve been highly critical of the GOP nominee in a number of previous editorials. With early voting already underway in several states and polls showing a close race, now is the time to spell out, in one place, the reasons Trump should not be president:
He is erratic. Trump has been on so many sides of so many issues that attempting to assess his policy positions is like shooting at a moving target. A list prepared by NBC details 124 shifts by Trump on 20 major issues since shortly before he entered the race. He simply spouts slogans and outcomes (he’d replace Obamacare with “something terrific”) without any credible explanations of how he’d achieve them.
He is ill-equipped to be commander in chief. Trump’s foreign policy pronouncements typically range from uninformed to incoherent. It’s not just Democrats who say this. Scores of Republican national security leaders have signed an extraordinary open letter calling Trump’s foreign policy vision “wildly inconsistent and unmoored in principle.” In a Wall Street Journal column this month, Robert Gates, the highly respected former Defense secretary who served presidents of both parties over a half-century, described Trump as “beyond repair.”
He traffics in prejudice. From the very beginning, Trump has built his campaign on appeals to bigotry and xenophobia, whipping up resentment against Mexicans, Muslims and migrants. His proposals for mass deportations and religious tests are unworkable and contrary to America’s ideals.
Trump has stirred racist sentiments in ways that can’t be erased by his belated and clumsy outreach to African Americans. His attacks on an Indiana-born federal judge of Mexican heritage fit “the textbook definition of a racist comment,” according to House Speaker Paul Ryan, the highest-ranking elected official in the Republican Party. And for five years, Trump fanned the absurd “birther” movement that falsely questioned the legitimacy of the nation’s first black president.
His business career is checkered. Trump has built his candidacy on his achievements as a real estate developer and entrepreneur. It’s a shaky scaffold, starting with a 1973 Justice Department suit against Trump and his father for systematically discriminating against blacks in housing rentals. (The Trumps fought the suit but later settled on terms that were viewed as a government victory.) Trump’s companies have had some spectacular financial successes, but this track record is marred by six bankruptcy filings, apparent misuse of the family’s charitable foundation, and allegations by Trump University customers of fraud. A series of investigative articles published by the USA TODAY Network found that Trump has been involved in thousands of lawsuits over the past three decades, including at least 60 that involved small businesses and contract employees who said they were stiffed. So much for being a champion of the little guy.
He isn’t leveling with the American people. Is Trump as rich as he says? No one knows, in part because, alone among major party presidential candidates for the past four decades, he refuses to release his tax returns. Nor do we know whether he has paid his fair share of taxes, or the extent of his foreign financial entanglements.
He speaks recklessly. In the days after the Republican convention, Trump invited Russian hackers to interfere with an American election by releasing Hillary Clinton’s emails, and he raised the prospect of “Second Amendment people” preventing the Democratic nominee from appointing liberal justices. It’s hard to imagine two more irresponsible statements from one presidential candidate.
He has coarsened the national dialogue. Did you ever imagine that a presidential candidate would discuss the size of his genitalia during a nationally televised Republican debate? Neither did we. Did you ever imagine a presidential candidate, one who avoided service in the military, would criticize Gold Star parents who lost a son in Iraq? Neither did we. Did you ever imagine you’d see a presidential candidate mock a disabled reporter? Neither did we. Trump’s inability or unwillingness to ignore criticism raises the specter of a president who, like Richard Nixon, would create enemies’ lists and be consumed with getting even with his critics.
He’s a serial liar. Although polls show that Clinton is considered less honest and trustworthy than Trump, it’s not even a close contest. Trump is in a league of his own when it comes to the quality and quantity of his misstatements. When confronted with a falsehood, such as his assertion that he was always against the Iraq War, Trump’s reaction is to use the Big Lie technique of repeating it so often that people begin to believe it.
We are not unmindful of the issues that Trump’s campaign has exploited: the disappearance of working-class jobs; excessive political correctness; the direction of the Supreme Court; urban unrest and street violence; the rise of the Islamic State terrorist group; gridlock in Washington and the influence of moneyed interests. All are legitimate sources of concern.
Nor does this editorial represent unqualified support for Hillary Clinton, who has her own flaws (though hers are far less likely to threaten national security or lead to a constitutional crisis). The Editorial Board does not have a consensus for a Clinton endorsement.
Some of us look at her command of the issues, resilience and long record of public service — as first lady, U.S. senator and secretary of State — and believe she’d serve the nation ably as its president.
Other board members have serious reservations about Clinton’s sense of entitlement, her lack of candor and her extreme carelessness in handling classified information.
Where does that leave us? Our bottom-line advice for voters is this: Stay true to your convictions. That might mean a vote for Clinton, the most plausible alternative to keep Trump out of the White House. Or it might mean a third-party candidate. Or a write-in. Or a focus on down-ballot candidates who will serve the nation honestly, try to heal its divisions, and work to solve its problems.
Whatever you do, however, resist the siren song of a dangerous demagogue. By all means vote, just not for Donald Trump.
USA TODAY's editorial opinions are decided by its Editorial Board, separate from the news staff. Most editorials are coupled with an opposing view — a unique USA TODAY feature.
In the 34-year history of USA TODAY, the Editorial Board has never taken sides in the presidential race. Instead, we’ve expressed opinions about the major issues and haven’t presumed to tell our readers, who have a variety of priorities and values, which choice is best for them.

AMBASSADOR BRIDGE...UNSAFE NOW ????? LOOK
The Ambassador Bridge is 87 years old, by the time the Gordie Howe International Bridge is completed the AB will be nearly 100 years old.
Is the Ambassador Bridge - safe - today....here are two photographs that I took in July 2016...on the Canadian side of the Bridge..is it safe ???? When was the last impartial bridge safety inspection done ????
Parts of the Bridge have fallen into the streets of Windsor.
Would you feel safe driving over the Bridge ????
Matty Maroun, the owner of the Ambassador Bridge, can't be trusted - it is said he put 1,000 windows into the old Central Railroad Terminal, but has not rehabbed or made substantial progress in fixing the building, that sits as a Tombstone to an entrance into Detroit.
Mayor Duggan seems to have been bought off or made a bad deal with Maroun, who has paid lobbyist and legislators who fight for his interests in Lansing and Washington, while Detroit looks at his failures.
It's time the Governor, the Mayor and the Federal Govt stands up to Maroun and takes control of urgent trans border needs of the US and Canada.

REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION 2016...COMMENTS - READ THEM
REPUBLICAN STATEMENTS ARE FALSE, HOLLOW....BLUE LIVES MATTER..
Donald Trump (the BILLIONAIRE) says he is the 'Law and Order' candidate which should scare all Americans...that comment should send a chill through all minority communities...that comment should bother Law Enforcement Officers throughout the nation, who will see that police-community relations become more strained if Trump is ever to become President. Common Sense says this is TRUE.
Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke proudly and rightfully proclaimed that 'Blue Lives Matter'...he should have accepted the applause and walked off the RNC stage, but he continued, denigrating and condemning 'Black Lives Matters' supporters. He was divisive and harmed police community relations. It will be interesting to see how his speech plays out in his city...but it was wrong for America and for Blue Lives.
The Cleveland Police Union President asked Governor Kasich to suspend 'Open Carry' in Cleveland, to protect 'Blue Lives' - law enforcement officers, many who had come from all over the country to assist Cleveland officers. They feared that protesters who would be allowed to 'Open Carry' guns and rifles would present a dangerous problem for the officers. Kasich said he had NO authority to do so - he should have had his AG find a way.
Dallas (TX) police officers - asked for an end to 'Open Carry' because so many protesters were carrying the guns and rifles (legally) that it made it difficult for them to know a 'good guy from a bad gun'
I have have written that Law Enforcement Officers, City Police Chiefs, County Sheriffs, and State Troopers must take the lead to end 'Open Carry' that endangers 'Blue Lives' and we need better and extended training for CPLs holders.
LEOs must take the lead to get a BAN on military assault weapons, high capacity magazines, background checks at gun shows and allowing the ATF to inspect and monitor gun stores, gun shows, and to use computers to track weapons to aid LEOs nationally when crimes are committed by guns.
We must support all law enforcement officers 'Blue Lives' matters but we must acknowledge - that we must work together to form better police - community relations, and Trump rhetoric doesn't do that.
CHRIS CHRISTIE...GOVERNOR OF NEW JERSEY...SHAMES HIS STATE AND HIMSELF
New Jersey - Chris Christie (Gov) ...Shame shame shame.....
Governor Chris Christie shamed himself and his state by his unethical, insulting, demeaning, crude, distasteful, vulgar speech at the Republican National Convention 2016 - listing talking points about the former First Lady, US Senator and Secretary of State - Hillary Clinton, also a mother and grandmother.
He listed anti Hillary talking points, some discredited, and encouraged the crowd to chant back - Guilty,...then the chant of the Convention thru day three - Lock her Up....reverberated.
Christie wanted the be Trump's Vice President, but his NJ baggage and his support for the NJ Democratic Legislature's, 23c a gallon gas hike made that impossible. He is now focused on being the US Attorney General, and his speech at the RNC should spike, kill any hope he had of getting that job.
Christie has shamed his State and himself and all those that cheered lustily (for blood) at the Convention.

GOD BLESS DALLAS POLICE DEPARTMENT ....JULY 2016
God Bless the Dallas (TX) Police Department.....
May God Bless the twelve (12) police officers killed and injured while doing their sworn duty to - Protect and Serve.
A police officer with a simple bullet proof vest and a 9 mm / 40 cal handgun is and was NO match for a gunman armed with a AR-15, military style assault weapon, a weapon of War, a weapon designed for mass casualties, as we saw a brave Dallas officer get into a fire fight with the crazed gunman.
Let us all - Police Officers, County Sheriffs, State Troopers, Federal Law Enforcement Officers - stand together - and demand 'common sense' gun laws - a BAN on military style assault weapons and high capacity magazines, background checks at gun shows, allowing the ATF to audit gun shops and gun shows, allowing ATF to use computers to assist law enforcement in tracking guns and for homicide and mass shooting investigations.
We as LEOs must take the lead - show the public that we who know the real consequences of homicides and mass shootings that we care and want assistance from them and that government, state and federal must do their part to protect LEOs and the public - NOW - not after another police killing or mass public shooting, NOW, we are ready to help Stop the Terror.

TRUMP = ISIS / ISSL / DAESH / AL-QAEDA - BIGGEST N BEST RECRUITER,
When DONALD J. TRUMP speaks 'people listen' it is his bombastic, ignorant rants, denigrating: President Obamas (weak), the US Military (weak / not strong enough), Mexicans and Muslims, the 'rigged' (American system) that is the meat and potatoes that 'radical terrorists' use to recruit 'new jihadists' and not just to those in the Middle East but to all 'terroists' around the WORLD, by using Trump's own words - that don't have to be tweaked or edited - they can use them on social media and in other forums against America and to put Americans in DANGER.
DONALD J. TRUMP has gone far below the level of decency to speak to Americans fears and doubts to create a divisive political campaign that has devalued the American Values at home and around the World. He is creating a level of mistrust between the American people and its Worldwide allies, that WE need to keep American safe and prosperous.
It is time for real Americans who love this country and its values, who want their children to grow up in freedom to reject the ignorant, bombastic and just plain wrong headed rhetoric of Donald J. Trump - start now, Today.......

AMERICA....NEEDS 'COMMON SENSE' GUN CONTROL LAWS...NOW
President Obama has made sixteen (16) mass murder announcements...unless we pass more 'common sense' gun control laws:
No Fly - No Buy, a ban on military style assaults weapons (Weapons of War), ban on high capacity magazines, and end to 'Open Carry Laws' and more training in the law and use of a handgun for CPL holders, background checks at gun shows, and allowing the ATF to check gun stores and their inventories. This would be a good start to stop mass killings.
Or President Obams should prepare his 17th, 18th ....mass murder announcements.

DONALD TRUMP - TAKES ORLANDO VICTORY LAP...49+ DEAD
Trump takes Congrats lap as Orlando weeps....49+ dead
Trump - 1st Anti-American Values Republican Presidential Nominee
TRUMP..49+ Dead - TAKES VICTORY LAP...NOT PRESIDENTIAL
Donald Trump, again showed Why, he should not be the Republican Presidential candidate and how despicable - he and the Republican Party have become...US Rep Paul Ryan called his comment about a judge, racist "but continued his endorsement of Trump !!!!
Trump on 'twitter' took a victory lap, with his middle finger extended to President Obama and the American people and to the families of those who had members killed in Orlando - LGBT residents, by a homophobic terrorist - NO proof, yet exists that he was tied to ISIS / Daesh. Trump on his 'victory lap' was wearing a NRA sash.
He did call 911 (we are told) stating that he was and leaving his name) but NO proof, yet .....if a person wants to commit a horrific act and wants maximum publicity - attaching your name to ISIS / Daesh would give you added publicity, rather than being a LGBT hater.
Before, President Obama spoke Trump said he did not want 'congratulations' for his tough stance against 'Islamic Terrorists'. he wanted President Obama to use that phrase (for which the President has said would condemn all Muslims for the acts of a few), Trump just wanted America to be 'strong'...He DID NOT express sympathy to the families, the LGBT victims or make a comment about the need for a ban on military style assault weapons.
Trump and his minions COULD NOT prevent such an event, not crediting the Homeland Security Agency, the FBI and thousands of law enforcement officers, working every day, every hour to prevent these kind of incidents.
We citizens of the USA, do not need Trump as president - we need sensible gun control laws, and a BAN on military style assault weapons with high capacity magazines.
Loyal, decent, God fearing Republicans should repudiate Trump, now and every time he insults the USA and its citizens.
God Bless the USA and all the families and victims in Orlando, Sandy Hook, San Bernadino and every where - gun violence - has taken a life.
Note: 6-14-16...President Obama - not weak on Terrorism - Republicans are - Republicans talk talk talk tough but refuse to pass a law that would prohibit suspected terrorist from buying a gun, refuse to pass a law that if you are on No Fly List - you can't buy a gun...Why ???? because the NRA and some paranoid people are afraid that the 'government' is coming to take their guns away.
The NRA and Republicans won't allow the ATF to inspect gun shows or gun stores - won't reinstate the Assault Weapons Ban etc..30,000 people a year in USA die because of guns. We must have common sense gun laws to protect the public.
There is NO NO NO God given right for anyone to own a guns amd most especially - military style assault weapons !!!!
The US Constitution was written to allow guns for a well 'regulated militia' ...there was No army, no police, so you had a musket to protect your family.....Now the Founding Fathers would be ashamed and appalled to see their words twisted to justify ownership of 'military styled assault weapons' and to know that 30,000 Americans are killed every year because of gun violence, they would not be afraid of the NRA.
Note: I have tried since 1988 to get all toy guns to be colored - neon colors and not to be designed to look like real guns - think of how many children's lives could have been saved, how many law enforcement officers careers would be saved by not having had to shoot a child with a realistic looking to gun.

MEMORIAL DAY 2016 - STOP THE SHAMING...TRUMP
Memorial Day 2016...Honor our Veterans and STOP the Shaming.
STOP....DONALD TRUMP from Shaming the Flag, our Constitution, our military, our diverse population, our values, our economic system...He indicates that Nothing is going right in America - why doesn't he move - emigrate to a country that is so much better than the USA ????? because there is NO better country.
We have problems and differences but we have overcome them....Trump has magnified them, But has offered NO Solutions. He makes wild inacurate statements and then flips flops when asked for explanations. Trump has denigrated women and minorities and our allies - China, Japan, Mexico that we need in a global economy - if he continues - the World economy will collapse with OUR economy, he cannot prevent that with his freshman view of World Politics.
He claims to be a Christian, but God and Jesus would be Ashamed of Trump and Trump supporters who hear Trumps' words and vote for him - and not repudiate or condemn his outlandish views and comments. He has been married three (3) times!!!!!!!!!!! If this were a different time, he wouldn't even be considered a candidate, based on that alone.
Trump repeatedly and repeatedly says..." I am a rich guy - very rich, worth billions of dollars." but he refuses, on flimsy excuses to release his tax returns - Why ???? ...what should we believe he is hiding, that all other candidates haven't - his (low) tax rate ???, his failure to donate to Charities - maybe he gives it all to politicians and doesn't have any more money for veterans, churches, humanitarian efforts around the world, cancer research ?????
It is time that the Media does its job as investigators, truth tellers,
and filters for the American people. It was estimated that the Media gave Trump over two (2) billion dollars in free media exposure. Les Moonves, of CBS, said Trump was 'good for (media) business' he needs to apologies to the American people.
God is testing America and the Republican Party with TRUMP...so
far many Americans have failed the test...
God Bless America !!! Our Country, Our Constitution, Our People and our Values...lets not lose them...to an ignorant, foul mouthed, belligerent, anti American, anti Christian, buffoon - that is and more Donald Trump.

BIG AUTOMOBILE COMPANIES...STUPID ?????????
Big Automobile Companies - Stupid ?????
Hey Sergio, Hey Bill, Hey Mary...Why ????
Why do SUVs and mini vans - Not have a roll down or pop up window, or horizontal Dutch doors, so that they can be a Family Utility Vehicles.
Chrysler made a mistake in allowing their famous mini vans to be branded as "soccer mom" vans, rather than FUVs, that limited their appeal and sales that should have them a more legendary vehicle.
Now, Sergio is allowing the same mistake to be repeated with the new Chrysler Pacifica's - by allowing them to be branded as a 'inept or creepy dad vehicle' with its Jim Gaffigan ads. He speaks German to 'rich' people and wants to beat his 3 and 4 year olds at tennis, to teach them a lesson ?????
The Chrysler Pacifica's should be marketed to active, engaged fathers and mothers who want to transport their children, buy groceries, trees and landscaping items, home improvement items (2x8s, dry wall a water heater) all at once, and a roll down window or horizontal Dutch door is needed and should be standard on SUVs and mini vans.

USA..USA...NO REASON TO SELL - MILITARY ASSAULT WEAPONS...
USA...USA...there is absolutely NO REASON for the possession and sale, with high capacity magazines clips of military style assault weapons, in the USA...These are Weapons of WAR and should not be available for purchase. They are not needed for hunting and they have been the source of multiple mass shooting and responsible for the deaths of fathers, mothers, children, aunts, uncles, grandfathers, grandmothers, brothers, sisters all good people who were in the wrong place at the wrong time.
There is NO US Constitutional right to the possession of a military style assault weapon - God and the Founding Fathers would be ashamed that people misread the Constitution to justify the possession of these Weapons of WAR.
These Weapons of WAR are available for purchase at almost every gun shop and 'sporting goods store, these were in an ad for Gander Mountain, tell Gander Mountain to STOP selling Weapons of WAR.

BURGER KING...BOYCOTT GRILLED HOT DOGS, JUST BAD
BOYCOTT...BK'S - GRILLED HOT DOGS...PITIFULLY THIN, NOT GOOD FOOD VALUE BURGER KING - BOYCOTT - GRILLED HOT DOGS...
This new addition to their menu is a pitiful, inferior and not a good food value, because the hot dog is too thin, doesn't fill the bun, and you would think they would have the common sense on the chilli dog to ladle on the chilli but NO they skimp on the chilli and cheese, too. This one was bought at Middlebelt and Ann Arbor Trail (MI)
These apparently are the same brand that a BK General Manager of Dearborn Heights newest BK, said was a MISTAKE over a year ago, and now they roll it out nation wide. BK must be hoping that people never eat a chilli hot dog from Checkers or remember that McDonalds had the best Johnsonville brauts special.
So tell BK - you don't want it their way - keep their pitifully thin - grilled hot dogs. David

NEW PLAYBOY = NEW COKE, A HUGE MISTAKE...
PLAYBOY...not Playboy....New Playboy = New Coke...a mistake
The March 2016 Playboy is the 'new and improved Playboy' with upgraded paper quality and larger format - OMG...NO NO NO...this is the new Playboy without nude / naked women.
This first copy, maybe the end of Playboy, it reminds one of the non Playboy 'men's magazines' of the 1950's and '60's that were afraid to show breasts, nipples and a cute butt. This Playboy is equal to the failed 'new Coke' experiment that promised to be better than the old formula Coke, that we loved to drink and enjoy.
Playboy was known and admired for photographing the World's most beautiful women - with great photographers and creative locals and sets, but this 'new' Playboy, shows women as shy almost embarrassed to be in Playboy.
The photography is in no way equal to the 'real' Playboy's of the past. The cover is great, but the inside photographs are no where near as provacative, enticing, alluring, vibrant or sensuous as they should be.
The magazine doesn't have its Rabbit joke page, or the cartoons that you anticipate and enjoy.
The new Playboy is a pale reminder of what it was and still should be, even in this age of pornography at your fingertips. Playboy was a magazine that you could read for the articles, jokes, and also enjoy seeing the World's most beautiful women - photographed in there more attractive form.
So if you have your old Playboy's keep them and look at them and remember when it was a magazine in the forefront of events - the 'new' Playboy is nothing more than a copy of today's other 'men's magazines, and its a shame that Scott N. Flanders, Chief Executive Officer, Playboy Enterprises, Inc, includes a letter extolling the 'new' Playboy as bigger and better - but he reminds me of Sarah Palin - putting lipstick on a pig.

TRUMP...WANTS US MILITARY TO COMMIT - WAR CRIMES...
Update: Trump wants US Military to commit WAR CRIMES...
Trump, in Detroit, said he would order the US Military to 'water board' detainees or worse - even if the US military refuses his orders. "They will listen to me" the ignorant Trump said...
Water boarding is a legacy of George W. Bush, which has been discredited in addition to being a World Court - War Crime.
So Trump would commit the US Military to committing War Crimes, to show the World that the US is 'tough"...He has to be the best recruited that ISIS / ISIL / Daesh has any where in the world. All ISIS has to do is replay Trump's own words..on Mexicans, Muslims, the Chinese, the Japanese...etc...
What is also - wrong - it that Fox News and other media outlets did not challenge this...they are replaying the 'little Marco, little hands' exchange between Rubio and Trump...Child like exchanges, not worthy of Presidential candidates...
Update...After Mitt Romney comments...read, leave comment.
Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Carson, this is what the Republican Party of Lincoln, Eisenhower, Ford and Reagan has become !!!! Right Wing extremist and blowhards with NO foreign policy experience or domestic agenda's that would cure the problems that they say is wrong with America.
Shame, shame shame on the Republican Party and those Americans who have voted for these three 'candidates'
Update...Rubio took the Republican low bar for civility and lowered it even more saying: (implying) that Trump's small hands means he has a small (penis) ...ugh.....
But NOW: Trump who has made numerous crude, obscene remarks went lower: saying that he could have had Mitt Romney (drop to his knees) to get his endorsement in 2012 Campaign.
Ronna Romney says her job is to help the Party nominee to win the
General Presidential Election....she should become a 'Profile in Courage' by saying that the current Republican candidates: Trump, Cruz and Rubio do not measure up to a Presidential standard that she can support ...She should try to save the Party and not stand by as these poor candidates wreck the party.

TRUMP, RUBIO, CRUZ - RELEASE YOUR US TAX RETURNS, TODAY
Trump, Cruz, Rubio....show your US TAX RETURNS....
Trump, is a billionaire, shows a photo of a huge stack of papers claiming they are his tax returns BUT he has NOT made his tax returns PUBLIC - Why Not ???
The same is true for USs Cruz and Rubio, who have failed to make their tax returns public, too...and WHY NOT ?????
They have all demanded that Hilary Clinton do so and she has made public her tax returns, so has Bernie Sanders...but NOT the big 3 Republicans.
Why Not ???? and just now the media is asking for Trumps Tax Returns, which he said he would release, but hasn't ....Today was too late ...but tomorrow is not to early.
Trump, Cruz and Rubio must 'do the right thing' Today - BEFORE 'SUPER TUESDAY'

SAVE THE BUFFALO - IN YELLOWSTONE, COMMENT NOW
Yellowstone Seeks Public Comment on Yellowstone Bison Quarantine Program Environmental Assessment - Yellowstone National Park (
Date: January 13, 2016
Contact: Sandra Snell-Dobert, (307) 344-2015
The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking public comment on an Environmental Assessment (EA) for the Use of Quarantine to Identify Brucellosis-free Yellowstone Bison for Relocation Elsewhere. The purpose of a quarantine program for Yellowstone bison would be to establish or augment new conservation and cultural herds of plains bison;conserve a viable, wild population of Yellowstone bison;maintain the low risk of brucellosis transmission from bison to cattle;reduce the need for shipment of bison to meat processing facilities to limit population growth;and provide cultural and nutritional opportunities for Native Americans.
The EA analyzes three alternatives to evaluate a quarantine program for Yellowstone Bison at one or more new quarantine facilities, which could be located within Yellowstone National Park, on tribal lands, or elsewhere.
* Alternative 1 is no action. Bison operations would continue as they currently are with no quarantine of bison.
* Alternative 2 includes conducting a quarantine program within Yellowstone National Park.
* Alternative 3 includes conducting a quarantine program on the Fort Peck Reservation and is the NPS preferred alternative.
The NPS is inviting public comment and engagement on the EA pursuant to the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA). The EA can be found online at www.parkplanning.nps.gov/BisonQuarantine. To request a hard copy of the EA, call 307-344-2015.
Respondents are encouraged to submit their comments online through the Planning, Environment and Public Comment (PEPC) website at www.parkplanning.nps.gov/BisonQuarantine. Comments may also be hand-delivered to the park administration building, or mailed to: Superintendent, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming, 82190. Comments will not be accepted by fax, e-mail, or in any manner other than those specified above. Bulk comments submitted in any format on behalf of others will not be accepted. The deadline to submit comments is midnight MDT February 15, 2016.
Once comments are analyzed, a decision on whether to implement the plan will be made by the Regional Director of the Intermountain Region of the NPS. If approved in time, the NPS may implement a quarantine program during the 2016 bison management operations period.
MY COMMENTS:
SAVE THE BUFFALO....Yellowstone National Park, to - cull - KILL, over 1,000 wild buffalo (bison) this winter - mostly: CALVES and FEMALES - to cut the reproductive rate, and to reduce the migration to Montana. Over 5,000 roamed the Park this summer - a far cry LESS that the millions that used to roam the West, killed like clay targets, for sport, by Western visitors and cowboys.
The buffalo which provided Native Americans with food, shelter and clothing and were very important in their survival, as the buffalo were killed, thousands of Native Americans also died. The buffalo roamed all over the West, now they barely exist and to KILL - 1,000 is wrong. These buffalo should be distributed to National Parks all over the country, so that even more people can see and enjoy them.
To save the buffalo of Yellowstone contact:
Supt Dan Wenk, (307) 344 - 7381....PO Box 168, Yellowstone, WY 82190 - 7381
National Park HQ....(202) 208 - 6843
The Buffalo should be given - FREE - to Native American tribes that want them for their reservations - transportation free...and sent to Native American tribes in North Dakota and South Dakota.
