HISTORIC DETROIT TIGER STADIUM LIVES ON...
DETROIT TIGER STADIUM WILL LIVE IN THE HEARTS AND MINDS OF THE MILLIONS OF PEOPLE WHO VISITED THE STADIUM, SO LONG AS THEY TAKE THE TIME TO REMEMBER IT.
MIKE ILITCH OWES THE CITY OF DETROIT UP TO $12. MILLION DOLLARS FOR FAILURE TO FULFILL THE AGREEMENTS TO MAINTAIN TIGER STADIUM AS IT WAS IN 1999 AND TO SECURE IT FROM VANDALS AND THIEVES. ILITCH'S FAILURE TO LIVE UP TO THE AGREEMENTS MAYBE UNDER INVESTIGATION BY THE FBI - HE TOOK CITY FUNDS / TAX PAYER MONEY FOR THE AGREEMENTS.
DETROIT CITY COUNCILMAN KEN COCKREL TOLD ME 'DAVID, YOUR BOY (PETER RILEY) WAS RIGHT HE (ILITCH) OWES THE CITY THE MONEY, AND I WILL DO EVERYTHING I CAN TO GET IT BACK' - WELL COCKREL LIED TO ME -
HE HAS DONE NOTHING TO GET THE MONEY BACK.
ILITCH SHOULD HONOR TIGER STADIUM BY BUILDING A 2,500 SEAT LIGHTED STADIUM AND THREE (3) ADDITIONAL BALL FIELDS AT THE TIGER STADIUM SITE.
IF HE FAILS TOO - THE CITY SHOULD PURSUE THE FBI INVESTIGATION AND PROVIDE COMPLETE COOPERATION, AND THE CITY SHOULD DEMAND THAT THE NATIONAL BASEBALL LEAGUE AND THE NATIONAL HOCKEY LEAGUE, FORCE ILITCH TO SELL THE TIGERS AND RED WINGS OR THAT MARIANNE ILITCH SELL HER CASINO ENTERPRISES.
DETROIT HAS TO STAND UP IN THESE HARD ECONOMIC TIMES AND DEMAND THAT ITS CONTRACTS AND AGREEMENTS BE HONORED - SOMETHING THAT HASN'T BEEN DONE IN THE PAST.

DETROIT POLICE CHIEF EVANS - MAYOR BING - AFFAIRS OF THE HEART - LONG AGO
Mayor Dave Bing showed that Crime is not the #1 issue in Detroit - and it should be.
He had Saul Green, Deputy Mayor, fire (force a resignation) on PC Warren Evans. Bing, if Evans was such a problem - should have stepped up and fired Evans and had a press conference with a list of reasons.
But, Bing and Green didnt - they alluded to this and that - none illegal and none worthy of firing a police professioanl. They seemed to announce Godbee as the New Chief of Police - but later said he was the 'interim' chief.
Wether or not you like Bing or Evans - Bing should have fired him - personally - not letting underling do this deed.
Bing has promised / said, Detroit will have a national search for a new police chief - I have advocated that for over 20 years - it must be done.
Detroit does not need a new inbred police chief - tied to the leaders? and politicians past and present. We need to clean house at DPD.
I suggest x - LA Police Chief William Bratton. Who do you want?

VERY GOOD interview with Warren Evans...he handled the interview much better than the mayor handled the announcement... at first I thought the mayor was announcing the appointment of Godbee as police chief, a little later the mayor and Saul Green mentioned - interim
If Evans transferred out of mayoral security - anyone - that the mayor wanted, that officer would have been brought back to EPU...by the Mayor.
And a reality show showing the Detroit and its Chief are fighting crime - for which
Detoit is almost synonomous with - may have been a positive. Cameras make you work
better more professional - if not then scrap the video cameras in police cars - that have cost Detroit millions of dollars...

cultural thing in Detroit...to hide relationships..
remember ....Detoit PC Isaiah McKinnon allegedly had an affair with...(Sgt) Cathy Mort----..who he discovered singing ...and promoted...and let her leave her corvette inside dpd hq parking lot...and she was married to a redford twp police lt.... she allegedly was responsible for break up of the 'blue pigs'.........and a lot of talk within the ranks...
- and he allegedly let a (nephew)? leave the scene of a fatal shooting to change clothes...
PC Stanley Knox - allegedly had an affair with a PO Stepahanie -----? and she reportedly had a baby by him.....?
PC Hart...was illiterate (per his attorney) and had affair with serveral women...and became a convicted felon...
maybe DPD should have a no frat ethics rule for police chiefs...

DETROIT POLICE CHIEF RESIGNS ??? MAYOR BING FIRES POLICE CHIEF..
No one really believes that Detroit Police Chief Warren Evans - resigned.
He was fired by Detroit Mayor Dave Bing - who no longer had any use for Evans, who was selected as Police Chief to remove him as a mayoral candidate.
Detroit has been plagued by bad police chiefs starting with Mayor Young's - felony chief - William Hart, thru Stanley Knox, Isaiah McKinnon, Benny Napoleon, Jerry Oliver and worst of all - Ella Bully Cummings.
Evans was 'aggressive' in fighting crime - he showed Detroit residents that the police department wasn't sitting on its hands, that he would commit officers to the street to engage the criminals that were destroying the neighborhoods and fabric of Detroit.
Chief Evans was a pit bull - not a mayoral lap dog or bobblehead like some former police chiefs that have occupied the Chief's chair, in name only.
Chief Evans, for over a year - failed - to rid the Department of: Crisnet (report system) that is a ball and chain around police officers and keeps them tied to a computer, and doesn't allow them to patrol effectively; adopt a Verified Response System - to handle false B&E alarms; obtain Jail cells and medical facility for Detroit Police prisoners ( 1/2 of Detroit jail cells were closed by Cummings and Detroit is paying millions of dollars for emergency medical care for prisoners - unnecessarily...
Detroit no longer needs Police Chiefs - the inbreeds that have helped destroy in infrastructure and morale of the Department. Detroit needs a National Search for a new police chief - a chief who will bring national respect and intelligence to a job that has been for too long occupied by political underlings with no independence and strings attached.
Detroit needs a new chief to come in and clean house.
Mayor Bing says a National Search will be done - I have advocated that for over 20 years - maybe now - it will happen????
Ralph Godbee, will make a good interim chief - a better public information officer.
ps: Muhamed Oakdie, former DPBPC, made foolish and ignorant comments about the best police chiefs come up thru the ranks...look at the history of bad Detroit Police Chiefs - Hart, Knox, McKinnon, Napoleon, Bully-Cummings - who have come up thru the ranks.
ps: CP Pugh " surprised " at Evans resigning??? Where has he been - it was not a matter of if - he would resign, just when would he be fired...

DETROIT PUBLIC SCHOOLS - CITY COUNCIL PROPOSAL - WRONG AGAIN
OMG...Apparently Detroit City Council hasn't heard the 'buzzwords' - right sizing government, downsizing government, restructuring - etc...
Detroit Public Schools - DO NOT - need a nine (9) member board of education - nor does
the Detroit City Council need nine (9) members - that feature bloated budgets, inefficiency, nepotism, favoritism, cronyism and redundancy that is no longer affordable in Detroit - that has lost over 1/2 of its residents.
Detroit now has less than 900,000 residency and the City Council and School Board should be presenting proposals to reduce member by four (4) members each. This is right and proper considering the glaring and dangerous budget deficits each has.
Detroit needs leadership that recognizes the problems and presents reasonable proposals to fix the problems and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Council and School Board. Detroit needs its political leaders to step up NOW, to do the right thing.
And Detroit need political, opinion leaders and church leaders to stand up and demand better leadership and actions.

It is now time for all police officers,sergeants, lieutenants and command officers (current or retired), who responded to the infamous, 'Manoogian Mansion Party', to speak out publicly on what they saw - what they know and what they were told, and to turn over whatever documentation you have.
The truth must be told - and only those officers are able to help solve the mystery - and to tell the truth about the 'urban legend' - it is important to the residents of Detroit and the people of Michigan.
We are about to elect a Governor, and one candidate - Mike Cox, is tainted and tarred by his actions and inactions in this matter, and the truth should and must be told.
Did Carlita Kilpatrick feloniously assault, a stripper (Tamara Greene)?
Did Kilpatrick - Mike Cox - and others, conspire and threaten police officers and others to participate in a cover up?
Was there a conspiracy to obstruct justice?
It will take an act of courage - to speak out now...but their is no longer a threat from X-Mayor Kilpatrick, X-Police Chief Ella Bully-Cummings, X-Chief of Staff Christine Beatty.
Now is the time to come forward and speak the truth. You can contact me or others that can help you - speak the truth. Do it Today......
